Synopsis


The goal of optometry Master’s program is to educate future researcher towards scientific research culture in order to conduct proper research by supervision. The minimum one and half-year full-time program is designed to develop research skills as well as critical and analytical thinking skills among every graduate student. This program is offered to candidate with minimum academic qualification of bachelor degree in relevant fields. The research area includes (but is not limited to) clinical optometry, experimental optometry, optics and visual optics.

 

Entry Requirement


 

  • Bachelor of Science (Hons.) from UiTM in a related and appropriate area of specialization with minimum CGPA of 2.75; OR
  • Bachelor's degree or its equivalent from other recognized universities approved by UiTM with minimum CGPA of 2.75.
  • A candidate applying for admission into this programme is required to submit a research proposal to the faculty. The acceptance of a candidate shall be at the discretion of the UiTM Senate, whose decision shall be final
