MASTER OF HEALTH SCIENCES (DIETETICS)  (HS767) RESEARCH

Synopsis


 

Master in Health Sciences (Dietetics) program requires student to undertake a major research project under supervision and to submit a thesis. Students gain research skills and expertise in their area of research interest, and demonstrate their outstanding academic ability and commitment to physiotherapy through the completion of the degree

 

Current areas of research include food hygiene and safety, nutritional biochemistry, maternal and child nutrition, infant feeding, childhood obesity and prevention, critical care nutrition, clinical and community nutrition, clinical biochemistry, and any area related to nutrition and dietetics.

 

Entry Requirement


 

  • Bachelor of Science (Hons.) from UiTM in a related and appropriate area of specialization with minimum CGPA of 2.75; OR
  • Bachelor's degree or its equivalent from other recognized universities approved by UiTM with minimum CGPA of 2.75.
  • A candidate applying for admission into this programme is required to submit a research proposal to the faculty. The acceptance of a candidate shall be at the discretion of the UiTM Senate, whose decision shall be final
