Synopsis
The program is offered by the Centre of Studies for Environmental Health and Safety. The modules are based on an interdisciplinary approach providing critical links between environmental and occupational exposures and their effects on human health thereafter. This program provides profound knowledge and skills needed to create, maintain and promote a healthy, safe and sustainable environment. Students will also have the opportunity to complete a research project depending on their professional interest and career direction to obtain more in-depth knowledge in a specific area. The Master in Environmental Health and Safety (M.E.H.S.) program prepares graduates for professional careers in environmental health and safety – encompassing environmental health, occupational safety and health, industrial hygiene, food hygiene and safety, and environmental management.
Entry Requirement
- Bachelor of Science (Hons.) from UiTM in a related and appropriate area of specialization with minimum CGPA of 2.75; OR
- Bachelor's degree or its equivalent from other recognized universities approved by UiTM with minimum CGPA of 2.75.
