The Department of Pharmacology & Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, UiTM, emphasizes on excellence in research, to ensure that students can maximize efforts on their research projects toward earning the Master of Science (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) degree on time. Students can have teaching responsibilities in laboratory practicals for undergraduates. The program will provide advanced graduate training to students interested in the pharmaceutical, herbal and health sciences.  It will train students in quantitative methods that will prepare them for careers in the health sciences and pharmaceutical areas. This is especially relevant to the pharmaceutical industry, with a high concentration of medical, pharmaceutical, environmental, and biotechnology industries with a related demand for a workforce.
