Synopsis

To provide graduates with the ability to carry out research and solve problems at the forefront of their respective fields while at the same time, facilitates discovery and contribute to new knowledge.

Entry Requirement

• A Master’s degree in a science related field from UiTM or any institution of higher learning recognised by the UiTM Senate; or
• An equivalent qualification to a Master’s degree in a science related field recognised by the UiTM Senate together with relevant experience.

APEL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

FROM BACHELOR TO PHD

a. Pass Bachelor’s degree

b. At least 35 years of age (in the year of application)

c. At least ten (10) years working experience in the top management of plantation

d. Requires Direct Evidence (Certificate / samples of work / record of work activities / documents) and Indirect Evidence (written records / Email / letter of support)

e. Attach together a research proposal

f. Interview according to the needs of the programme

g. Pass the Aptitude test (to be confirmed by the Department of Academic Affairs)

English Requirement (MUET/IELTS/TOEFL/CEFR/TOEIC/BULATS)

• Malaysian University English Test (MUET) Band 3
• IELTS Band 5
• TOEFL: Internet Based Test (IBT: 35 - 45) ; Computer Based Test (CBT: 107-131) ; Paper Based Test (417- 450)
• CEFR: B1
• TOEIC: 356 - 440
• BULATS: 40 - 59
