Synopsis
The Master of Geographical Information Science (MGISc) is a one (1) full year programme specifically designed to allow students to acheive a thorough understanding of geographical information concepts and theory as well as an exposure to research and applications.
This programme is designed to allow a variety of candidates, including those already in the GIS/ remote sensing industry, and those who would like to acquire GIS knowledge and practical experience to complement thier existing specialization. Ability to develop, apply and adapt knowledge and skills in geospatial technology for the demands of the industry locally and globally.
Entry Requirement
- Bachelor of Science (Hons.) from UiTM in a related and appropriate area of specialization with minimum CGPA of 2.75; OR
- Bachelor's degree or its equivalent from other recognized universities approved by UiTM with minimum CGPA of 2.75.
