This is an integrated programme designed for candidates who are interested in enhancing their careers in various aspects of Information Management. The main aim of the programme is to offer specialised and advanced professional training and education in an area focusing on information handling, information systems and information dissemination, in order to ensure effective contributions to organizations and society.

Entry Requirements

  • Academic Qualification
    • Applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in a relevant field of study from a university that is recognized by the University Senate and the Malaysian government.
  • English Language Proficiency
    • a TOEFL certificate with a score of at least
    • 550 for (paper based), or
    • 213 (computer based), or
    • 79-80 (IBT), or
    • an IELTS certificate with at least Band 6.0

 *Any other English language certificates other than TOEFL and IELTS are NOT accepted by the university.

 

Courses Offered

The Master of Science in Information Management requires students to complete a minimum of 40 credit hours i.e. 34 credit hours (10 courses) from the CORE courses, and 6 credit hours (2 courses) from the ELECTIVE courses. The curriculum enables students to acquire a good blend of skills and knowledge in the areas of Information Services, Information Systems and Information Management.
